Who are we?

SciCo USA, the first SciCo initiative in the Western hemisphere, was founded by Mariya Fatakdawala and Niti Sawant in Austin, Texas.

The organization partners undergraduate students in STEM fields with middle school students in underserved areas. SciCo USA aims to help middle school students facing significant non-academic needs through mentorship programs that build supportive relationships that foster student interest in higher education.

While the program is currently being implemented in Austin, Texas, SciCo USA hopes to increase student retention rates in cities across the nation.
